The members of Yi YUVA REC organized a waste management awareness event at New Hope and New Life Home located in Perumbakkam on the 20th of October 2024. The event included a hands - on workshop designed to educate and create awareness among young minds. The workshop included a warm briefing about pollution caused due to improper waste management and how to prevent it through proper disposal methods. The workshop conducted was highly engaging among the children. It helped them to discover wealth from the trash. The children showcased immense joy and had a great time throughout the event. At the end of the event, crafts were created out of the trash that showcased the newly acquired knowledge of the children. The awareness campaign was well received, significantly enhancing the children's understanding of waste management. The event ended on a happy note with a sense of contentment. It was truly a special day filled with learning and laughter.
